Controversial Marketing! (I love it)
I must say, I really like controversy! Anything controversial sells like mad.
NOW do everyone have the guts to be controversial in their marketing efforts???
Not really!
Controversial and confrontational marketing are time tested methods for bringing traffic, attention and links to your company, product or website, however there’s more to it than just picking a fight.
For example this video below was actually airing in Dutch Television and was very popular, in fact it made a lot of people aware of how important it was to be bilingual. In fact in the Netherlands is VERY HARD to find anyone who does not understand at least a bit of English.
Controversial? YES. Rude? YES Effective? NO DOUBT!
I just received this video from my friend Dean Hunt and this is another example of an amazing Confrontational/controversial marketing at it’s best
WHO would have thought of using Adolf Hitler as a way to gain free publicity?
Brilliant isn’t it? The question to you is: What can you do in your business that can be controversial but can also create attention traffic and free publicity?
