He was one of the founding pillars of stability in the memories of many of the fans and when he suddenly goes people are in a state of shock and disbelief just like any normal person would when they lose a loved one. well dance and music will never be the same without michael jackson and as far as farrah fawcetts death she was just another pretty face.
